Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Acbor, Shaphan and Asaiah went to speak to the prophetess Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the Second District.
왕하22:15 훌다가 그들에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 너희는 너희를 내게 보낸 사람에게 말하기를
She said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,
왕하22:16 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이 곳과 그 주민에게 재앙을 내리되 곧 유다 왕이 읽은 책의 모든 말대로 하리니
'This is what the LORD says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people, according to everything written in the book the king of Judah has read.
왕하22:17 이는 이 백성이 나를 버리고 다른 신에게 분향하며 그들의 손의 모든 행위로 나를 격노하게 하였음이라 그러므로 내가 이 곳을 향하여 내린 진노가 꺼지지 아니하리라 하라 하셨느니라
Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and provoked me to anger by all the idols their hands have made, my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.'
왕하22:18 너희를 보내 여호와께 묻게 한 유다 왕에게는 너희가 이렇게 말하라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와가 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 네가 들은 말들에 대하여는
Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:
왕하22:19 내가 이 곳과 그 주민에게 대하여 빈 터가 되고 저주가 되리라 한 말을 네가 듣고 마음이 부드러워져서 여호와 앞 곧 내 앞에서 겸비하여 옷을 찢고 통곡하였으므로 나도 네 말을 들었노라 여호와가 말하였느니라
Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people, that they would become accursed and laid waste, and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the LORD.
왕하22:20 그러므로 보라 내가 너로 너의 조상들에게 돌아가서 평안히 묘실로 들어가게 하리니 내가 이 곳에 내리는 모든 재앙을 네 눈이 보지 못하리라 하셨느니라 하니 사자들이 왕에게 보고하니라
Therefore I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be buried in peace. Your eyes will not see all the disaster I am going to bring on this place.'" So they took her answer back to the king.

2 Kings 23
왕하23:1 왕이 보내 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 장로를 자기에게로 모으고
Then the king called together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
왕하23:2 이에 왕이 여호와의 성전에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 주민과 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성이 노소를 막로하고 다 왕과 함께 한지라 왕이 여호와의 성전 안에서 발견한 언약책의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
He went up to the temple of the LORD with the men of Judah, the people of Jerusalem, the priests and the prophets--all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD.
왕하23:3 왕이 단 위에 서서 여호와 앞에서 언약을 세우되 마음을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 여호와께 순종하고 그의 계명과 법도와 율례를 지켜 이 책에 기록된 이 언약의 말씀을 이루게 하리라 하매 백성이 다 그 언약을 따르기로 하니라
The king stood by the pillar and renewed the covenant in the presence of the LORD--to follow the LORD and keep his commands, regulations and decrees with all his heart and all his soul, thus confirming the words of the covenant written in this book. Then all the people pledged themselves to the covenant.
왕하23:4 왕이 대제사장 힐기야와 모든 부제사장들과 문을 지킨 자들에게 명령하여 바알과 아세라와 하늘의 일월 성신을 위하여 만든 모든 그릇들을 여호와의 성전에서 내다가 예루살렘 바깥 기드론 밭에서 불사르고 그것들의 재를 벧엘로 가져가게 하고
The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the priests next in rank and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the LORD all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley and took the ashes to Bethel.
왕하23:5 옛적에 유다 왕들이 세워서 유다 모든 성읍과 예루살렘 주위의 산당들에서 분향하며 우상을 섬기게 한 제사장들을 폐하며 또 바알과 해와 달과 별 떼와 하늘의 모든 별에게 분향하는 자들을 폐하고
He did away with the pagan priests appointed by the kings of Judah to burn incense on the high places of the towns of Judah and on those around Jerusalem--those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and moon, to the constellations and to all the starry hosts.
왕하23:6 또 여호와의 성전에서 아세라 상을 내다가 예루살렘 바깥 기드론 시내로 가져다 거기에서 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들어 그것들의 가루를 평민의 묘지에 뿌리고
He took the Asherah pole from the temple of the LORD to the Kidron Valley outside Jerusalem and burned it there. He ground it to powder and scattered the dust over the graves of the common people.
왕하23:7 또 여호와의 성전 가운데 남창의 집을 헐었으니 그 곳은 여인이 아세라를 위하여 휘장을 짜는 처소였더라
He also tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes, which were in the temple of the LORD and where women did weaving for Asherah.
왕하23:8 또 유다 각 성읍에서 모든 제사장을 불러오고 또 제사장이 분향하던 산당을 게바에서부터 브엘세바까지 더럽게 하고 또 성문의 산당들을 헐어 버렸으니 이 산당들은 그 성읍의 지도자 여호수아의 대문 어귀 곧 성문 왼쪽에 있었더라
Josiah brought all the priests from the towns of Judah and desecrated the high places, from Geba to Beersheba, where the priests had burned incense. He broke down the shrines at the gates--at the entrance to the Gate of Joshua, the city governor, which is on the left of the city gate.
왕하23:9 산당들의 제사장들은 예루살렘 여호와의 제단에 올라가지 못하고 다만 그의 형제 중에서 무교병을 먹을 뿐이었더라
Although the priests of the high places did not serve at the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, they ate unleavened bread with their fellow priests.
왕하23:10 왕이 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기의 도벳을 더럽게 하여 어떤 사람도 몰록에게 드리기 위하여 자기의 자녀를 불로 지나가지 못하게 하고
He desecrated Topheth, which was in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, so no one could use it to sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to Molech.
왕하23:11 또 유다 여러 왕이 태양을 위하여 드린 말들을 제하여 버렸으니 이 말들은 여호와의 성전으로 들어가는 곳의 근처 내시 나단멜렉의 집 곁에 있던 것이며 또 태양 수레를 불사르고
He removed from the entrance to the temple of the LORD the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. They were in the court near the room of an official named Nathan-Melech. Josiah then burned the chariots dedicated to the sun.
왕하23:12 유다 여러 왕이 아하스의 다락 지붕에 세운 제단들과 므낫세가 여호와의 성전 두 마당에 세운 제단들을 왕이 다 헐고 거기서 빻아내려서 그것들의 가루를 기드론 시내에 쏟아 버리고
He pulled down the altars the kings of Judah had erected on the roof near the upper room of Ahaz, and the altars Manasseh had built in the two courts of the temple of the LORD. He removed them from there, smashed them to pieces and threw the rubble into the Kidron Valley.
왕하23:13 또 예루살렘 앞 멸망의 산 오른쪽에 세운 산당들을 왕이 더럽게 하였으니 이는 옛적에 이스라엘 왕 솔로몬이 시돈 사람의 가증한 아스다롯과 모압 사람의 가증한 그모스와 암몬 자손의 가증한 밀곰을 위하여 세웠던 것이며
The king also desecrated the high places that were east of Jerusalem on the south of the Hill of Corruption--the ones Solomon king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the vile goddess of the Sidonians, for Chemosh the vile god of Moab, and for Molech the detestable god of the people of Ammon.
왕하23:14 왕이 또 석상들을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상들을 찍고 사람의 해골로 그 곳에 채웠더라
Josiah smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles and covered the sites with human bones.
왕하23:15 또한 이스라엘에게 범죄하게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암이 벧엘에 세운 제단과 산당들을 왕이 헐고 또 그 산당을 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들며 또 아세라 목상을 불살랐더라
Even the altar at Bethel, the high place made by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had caused Israel to sin--even that altar and high place he demolished. He burned the high place and ground it to powder, and burned the Asherah pole also.
왕하23:16 요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 산에 있는 무덤들을 보고 보내어 그 무덤에서 해골을 가져다가 제단 위에서 불살라 그 제단을 더럽게 하니라 이 일을 하나님의 사람이 전하였더니 그 전한 여호와의 말씀대로 되었더라
Then Josiah looked around, and when he saw the tombs that were there on the hillside, he had the bones removed from them and burned on the altar to defile it, in accordance with the word of the LORD proclaimed by the man of God who foretold these things.
왕하23:17 요시야가 이르되 내게 보이는 저것은 무슨 비석이냐 하니 성읍 사람들이 그에게 말하되 왕께서 벧엘의 제단에 대하여 행하신 이 일을 전하러 유다에서 왔던 하나님의 사람의 묘실이니이다 하니라
The king asked, "What is that tombstone I see?" The men of the city said, "It marks the tomb of the man of God who came from Judah and pronounced against the altar of Bethel the very things you have done to it."
왕하23:18 이르되 그대로 두고 그의 뼈를 옮기지 말라 하매 무리가 그의 뼈와 사마리아에서 온 선지자의 뼈는 그대로 두었더라
"Leave it alone," he said. "Don't let anyone disturb his bones." So they spared his bones and those of the prophet who had come from Samaria.
왕하23:19 전에 이스라엘 여러 왕이 사마리아 각 성읍에 지어서 여호와를 격노하게 한 산당을 요시야가 다 제거하되 벧엘에서 행한 모든 일대로 행하고
Just as he had done at Bethel, Josiah removed and defiled all the shrines at the high places that the kings of Israel had built in the towns of Samaria that had provoked the LORD to anger.
왕하23:20 또 저기 있는 산당의 제사장들을 다 제단 위에서 죽이고 사람의 해골을 제단 위에서 불사르고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
Josiah slaughtered all the priests of those high places on the altars and burned human bones on them. Then he went back to Jerusalem.
왕하23:21 왕이 뭇 백성에게 명령하여 이르되 이 언약책에 기록된 대로 너희의 하나님 여호와를 위하여 유월절을 지키라 하매
The king gave this order to all the people: "Celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant."
왕하23:22 사사가 이스라엘을 다스리던 시대부터 이스라엘 여러 왕의 시대와 유다 여러 왕의 시대에 이렇게 유월절을 지킨 일이 없었더니
Not since the days of the judges who led Israel, nor throughout the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah, had any such Passover been observed.
왕하23:23 요시야 왕 열여덟째 해에 예루살렘에서 여호와 앞에 이 유월절을 지켰더라
But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, this Passover was celebrated to the LORD in Jerusalem.
왕하23:24 요시야가 또 유다 땅과 예루살렘에 보이는 신접한 자와 점쟁이 드라빔과 우상과 모든 가증한 것을 다 제거하였으니 이 큰 대제사장 힐기야가 여호와의 성전에서 발견한 책에 기록된 율법의 말씀을 이루려 함이라
Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the temple of the LORD.
왕하23:25 요시야와 같이 마음을 다하며 뜻을 다하며 힘을 다하여 모세의 모든 율법을 따라 여호와께로 돌이킨 왕은 요시야 전에도 없었고 후에도 그와 같은 자가 없었더라
Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did--with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.
왕하23:26 그러나 여호와께서 유다를 향하여 내리신 그 크게 타오르는 진노를 돌이키지 아니하셨으니 이는 므낫세가 여호와를 격노하게 한 그 모든 격노 때문이라
Nevertheless, the LORD did not turn away from the heat of his fierce anger, which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh had done to provoke him to anges.
왕하23:27 여호와께서 이르시되 내가 이스라엘을 물리친 것 같이 유다도 내 앞에서 물리치며 내가 택한 이 성 예루살렘과 내 이름을 거기에 두리라 한 이 성전을 버리리라 하셨더라
So the LORD said, "I will remove Judah also from my presence as I removed Israel, and I will reject Jerusalem, the city I chose, and this temple, about which I said, 'There shall my Name be.'"
왕하23:28 요시야의 남은 사적과 행한 모든 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
As for the other events of Josiah's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
왕하23:29 요시야 당시에 애굽의 왕 바로 느고가 앗수르 왕을 치고자 하여 유브라데 강으로 올라가므로 요시야 왕이 맞서 나갔더니 애굽 왕이 요시야를 므깃도에서 만났을 때에 죽인지라
While Josiah was king, Pharaoh Neco king of Egypt went up to the Euphrates River to help the king of Assyria. King Josiah marched out to meet him in battle, but Neco faced him and killed him at Megiddo.
왕하23:30 신복들이 그의 시체를 병거에 싣고 므깃도에서 예루살렘으로 돌아와 그의 무덤에 장사하니 백성들이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 데려다가 그에게 기름을 붓고 그의 아버지를 대신하여 왕으로 삼았더라
Josiah's servants brought his body in a chariot from Megiddo to Jerusalem and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah and anointed him and made him king in place of his father.
왕하23:31 여호아하스가 왕이 될 때에 나이가 이십삼 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 하무달이라 립나 예레미야의 딸이더라
Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother's name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
왕하23:32 여호아하스가 그의 조상들의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더니
He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his fathers had done.
왕하23:33 바로 느고가 그를 하맛 땅 립나에 가두어 예루살렘에서 왕이 되지 못하게 하고 또 그 나라로 은 백 달란트와 금 한 달란트를 벌금으로 내게 하고
Pharaoh Neco put him in chains at Riblah in the land of Hamath so that he might not reign in Jerusalem, and he imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
왕하23:34 바로 느고가 요시야의 아들 엘리아김을 그의 아버지 요시야를 대신하여 왕으로 삼고 그의 이름을 고쳐 여호야김이라 다고 여호아하스는 애굽으로 잡아갔더니 그가 거기서 죽으니라
Pharaoh Neco made Eliakim son of Josiah king in place of his father Josiah and changed Eliakim's name to Jehoiakim. But he took Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt, and there he died.
왕하23:35 여호야김이 은과 금을 바로에게 주니라 그가 바로 느고의 명령대로 그에게 그 돈을 주기 위하여 나라에 부과하되 백성들 각 사람의 힘대로 액수를 정하고 은금을 징수하였더라
Jehoiakim paid Pharaoh Neco the silver and gold he demanded. In order to do so, he taxed the land and exacted the silver and gold from the people of the land according to their assessments.
왕하23:36 여호야김이 왕이 될 때에 나이가 이십오 세라 예루살렘에서 십 일 년간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 스비다라 루마브다야의 딸이더라
Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother's name was Zebidah daughter of Pedaiah; she was from Rumah.
왕하23:37 여호야김이 그의 조상들이 행한 모든 일을 따라서 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
And he did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his fathers had done.

2 Kings 24
왕하24:1 여호야김 시대에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살이 올라오매 여호야김이 삼 년간 섬기다가 돌아서 그를 배반하였더니
During Jehoiakim's reign, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded the land, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years. But then he changed his mind and rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar.
왕하24:2 여호와께서 그의 종 선지자들을 통하여 하신 말씀과 같이 갈대아의 부대와 아람의 부대와 모압의 부대와 암몬 자손의 부대를 여호야김에게로 보내 유다를 쳐 멸하려 하시니
The LORD sent Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him. He sent them to destroy Judah, in accordance with the word of the LORD proclaimed by his servants the prophets.
왕하24:3 이 일이 유다에 임함은 곧 여호와의 말씀대로 그들을 자기 앞에서 물리치고자 하심이니 이는 므낫세의 지은 모든 죄 때문이며
Surely these things happened to Judah according to the LORD'S command, in order to remove them from his presence because of the sins of Manasseh and all he had done,
왕하24:4 또 그가 무죄한 자의 피를 흘려 그의 피가 예루살렘에 가득하게 하였음이라 여호와께서 사하시기를 즐겨하지 아니하시니라
including the shedding of innocent blood. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD was not willing to forgive.
왕하24:5 여호야김의 남은 사적과 행한 모든 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
As for the other events of Jehoiakim's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
왕하24:6 여호야김이 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 그의 아들 여호야긴이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
Jehoiakim rested with his fathers. And Jehoiachin his son succeeded him as king.
왕하24:7 애굽 왕이 다시는 그 나라에서 나오지 못하였으니 이는 바벨론 왕이 애굽 강에서부터 유브라데 강까지 애굽 왕에게 속한 땅을 다 점령하였음이더라
The king of Egypt did not march out from his own country again, because the king of Babylon had taken all his territory, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates River.
왕하24:8 여호야긴이 왕이 될 때에 나이가 십팔 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 느후스다요 예루살렘 엘라단의 딸이더라
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother's name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem.
왕하24:9 여호야긴이 그의 아버지의 모든 행위를 따라서 여호와께서 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father had done.
왕하24:10 그 때에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살의 신복들이 예루살렘에 올라와서 그 성을 에워싸니라
At that time the officers of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon advanced on Jerusalem and laid siege to it,
왕하24:11 그의 신복들이 에워쌀 때에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살도 그 성에 이르니
and Nebuchadnezzar himself came up to the city while his officers were besieging it.
왕하24:12 유다의 왕 여호야긴이 그의 어머니와 신복과 지도자들과 내시들과 함께 바벨론 왕에게 나아가매 왕이 잡으니 때는 바벨론의 왕 여덟째 해이라
Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his attendants, his nobles and his officials all surrendered to him. In the eighth year of the reign of the king of Babylon, he took Jehoiachin prisoner.
왕하24:13 그가 여호와의 성전의 모든 보물과 왕궁 보물을 집어내고 또 이스라엘의 왕 솔로몬이 만든 것 곧 여호와의 성전의 금 그릇을 다 파괴하였으니 여호와의 말씀과 같이 되었더라
As the LORD had declared, Nebuchadnezzar removed all the treasures from the temple of the LORD and from the royal palace, and took away all the gold articles that Solomon king of Israel had made for the temple of the LORD.
왕하24:14 그가 또 예루살렘의 모든 백성과 모든 지도자와 모든 용사 만 명과 모든 장인과 대장장이를 사로잡아 가매 비천한 자 외에는 그 땅에 남은 자가 없었더라
He carried into exile all Jerusalem: all the officers and fighting men, and all the craftsmen and artisans--a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.
왕하24:15 그가 여호야긴을 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고 왕의 어머니와 왕의 아내들과 내시들과 나라에 권세 있는 자도 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고
Nebuchadnezzar took Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. He also took from Jerusalem to Babylon the king's mother, his wives, his officials and the leading men of the land.
왕하24:16 또 용사 칠천 명과 장인과 대장장이 천 명 곧 용감하여 싸움을 할 만한 모든 자들을 바벨론 왕이 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가고
The king of Babylon also deported to Babylon the entire force of seven thousand fighting men, strong and fit for war, and a thousand craftsmen and artisans.
왕하24:17 바벨론 왕이 또 여호야긴의 숙부 맛다니야를 대신하여 왕으로 삼고 그의 이름을 고쳐 시드기야라 하였더라
He made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's uncle, king in his place and changed his name to Zedekiah.
왕하24:18 시드기야가 왕이 될 때에 나이가 이십일 세라 예루살렘에서 십 일 년간 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 하무달이요 립나인 예레미야의 딸이더라
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother's name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
왕하24:19 그가 여호야김의 모든 행위를 따라 여호와 보시기에 악을 행한지라
He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as Jehoiakim had done.
왕하24:20 여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다를 진노하심이 그들을 그 앞에서 쫓아내실 때까지 이르렀더라 시드기야가 바벨론 왕을 배반하니라
It was because of the LORD'S anger that all this happened to Jerusalem and Judah, and in the end he thrust them from his presence. Now Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

왕하25:1 시드기야 제구년 열째 달 십일에 바벨론의 왕 느부갓네살이 그의 모든 군대를 거느리고 예루살렘을 치러 올라와서 그 성에 대하여 진을 치고 주위에 토성을 쌓으매
So in the ninth year of Zedekiah's reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. He encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it.
왕하25:2 그 성이 시드기야 왕 제십일년까지 포위되었더라
The city was kept under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
왕하25:3 그 해 넷째 달 구일에 성중에 기근이 심하여 그 땅 백성의 양식이 떨어졌더라
By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine in the city had become so severe that there was no food for the people to eat.
왕하25:4 그 성벽이 파괴되매 모든 군사가 밤중에 두 성벽 사이 왕의 동산 곁문 길로 도망하여 갈대아인들이 그 성읍을 에워쌌으므로 그가 아라바 길로 가더니
Then the city wall was broken through, and the whole army fled at night through the gate between the two walls near the king's garden, though the Babylonians were surrounding the city. They fled toward the Arabah,
왕하25:5 갈대아 군대가 그 왕을 뒤쫓아가서 여리고 평지에서 그를 따라 잡으매 왕의 모든 군대가 그를 떠나 흩어진지라
but the Babylonian army pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his soldiers were separated from him and scattered,
왕하25:6 그들이 왕을 사로잡아 그를 리블라에 있는 바벨론 왕에게로 끌고 가매 그들이 그를 심문하니라
and he was captured. He was taken to the king of Babylon at Riblah, where sentence was qronounced on him.
왕하25:7 그들이 시드기야의 아들들을 그의 눈앞에서 죽이고 시드기야의 두 눈을 빼고 놋 사슬로 그를 결박하여 바벨론으로 끌고 갔더라
They killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. Then they put out his eyes, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.
왕하25:8 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 열아홉째 해 오월 칠일에 바벨론 왕의 신복 시위대장 느부사라단이 예루살렘에 이르러
On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, an official of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
왕하25:9 여호와의 성전과 왕궁을 불사르고 예루살렘의 모든 집을 귀인의 집까지 불살랐으며
He set fire to the temple of the LORD, the royal palace and all the houses of Jerusalem. Every important building he burned down.
왕하25:10 시위대장에게 속한 갈대아 온 군대가 예루살렘 주위의 성벽을 헐었으며
The whole Babylonian army, under the commander of the imperial guard, broke down the walls around Jerusalem.
왕하25:11 성 중에 남아 있는 백성과 바벨론 왕에게 항복한 자들과 무리 중 남은 자는 시위대장 느부사라단이 모두 사로잡아 가고
Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile the people who remained in the city, along with the rest of the populace and those who had gone over to the king of Babylon.
왕하25:12 시위대장이 그 땅의 비천한 자를 남겨 두어 포도원을 다스리는 자와 농부가 되게 하였더라
But the commander left behind some of the poorest people of the land to work the vineyards and fields.
왕하25:13 갈대아 사람이 또 여호와의 성전의 두 놋 기둥과 받침들과 여호와의 성전의 놋 바다를 깨뜨려 그 놋을 바벨론으로 가져가고
The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars, the movable stands and the bronze Sea that were at the temple of the LORD and they carried the bronze to Babylon.
왕하25:14 또 가마들과 부삽들과 부집게들과 숟가락들과 섬길 때에 쓰는 모든 놋그릇을 다 가져갔으며
They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, dishes and all the bronze articles used in the temple service.
왕하25:15 시위대장이 또 불 옮기는 그릇들과 주발들 곧 금으로 만든 것이나 은으로 만든 것이나 모두 가져갔으며
The commander of the imperial guard took away the censers and sprinkling bowls--all that were made of pure gold or silver.
왕하25:16 또 솔로몬이 여호와의 성전을 위하여 만든 두 기둥과 한 바다와 받침들을 가져갔는데 이 모든 기구의 놋 무게를 헤아릴 수 없었으니
The bronze from the two pillars, the Sea and the movable stands, which Solomon had made for the temple of the LORD, was more than could be weighed.
왕하25:17 그 한 기둥은 높이가 열여덟 규빗이요 그 꼭대기에 놋 머리가 있어 높이가 세 규빗이요 그 머리에 둘린 그물과 석류가 다 놋이라 다른 기둥의 장식과 그물도 이와 같았더라
Each pillar was twenty-seven feet high. The bronze capital on top of one pillar was four and a half feet high and was decorated with a network and pomegranates of bronze all around. The other pillar, with its network, was similar.
